Stay with Us

We are a small, family-run camping and caravan site ideally located just off the A515 and the High Peak Trail. Our caravan park is a wonderful place for couples and family campers to stay. We like to think we offer the perfect base for a weekend break or a longer holiday to explore the Peak District area. Local day trips to historic towns and places of interest are easy to arrange and include well-known Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Chatsworth and many other charismatic villages.

Opening Dates

Our Caravan Park is open annually from the end of March to the beginning of November. All touring caravans, motor homes, trailer and family tents are welcome to Pomeroy Caravan Park. We have well maintained EHU Grassland pitches for touring caravans and tents. We have an open plan area for tents without EHU.

In accordance with government guidelines, we will be opening on 12th April 2021. 

However, we will be unable to open our facility block until 17th May, so please only book between these dates if you can be fully self sufficient. 

We will be able to provide drinking water (cold) and electricity if you have booked an electric pitch. 

Between 12th April and 17th May 2021 we will be unable to provide showers or washing facilities, toilet facilities or pot washing facilities. 

Touring Booking Arrangements

Bookings can be made on line and advance booking is essential particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August, and school holidays. At time of booking full contact details, registration number, and a non refundable deposit payment will be required. We have minimum stays of 3 nights at Bank Holiday weekends.
